a comic assignemnt. pretty old. the idea behind it is that the diety in question (the Hands-Behind-the-Veil) demands that any adherent who wants to become a mouthpiece must have their name permanently erased from existence - they were, are, and always will be the Curtain Caller, even in memories and writing. not all that fond of the result tbh

the original draft of the above comic. this one i actually like quite a bit, even though the curtain caller here is only a placeholder. it gives more of an idea of the effect of the Hands-Behind-the-Veil, i.e. giant hands that fold aside reality itself to break through to us.
