original dandelion city sketch.I imagine it's a lot like a Girl's Last Tour situation where the city is layered over itself many times.

explanation of the layers and the pillars between them, plus dendelion aging. i think instead of genders the age of the dandelion denotes a gender-like role. an individual has two stages of adulthood, and only gets full "recognition" after the second (seed head developing fully)

I always imagined that there were/would be some kind of 'monster' to explain the ruin of the cities - or at least to make it less boring. whenever i see a downed conifer in the woods i always think they look like big spiky monster-snakes, so i figured it would fit pretty well in the dandelion world. i like how the branches turned out on this one :]
