CURBSTOMP

~6 year old cross-breed of 6 leg Volvo s90 sedan and mutt car

Ugly, patchworked, and near impossible to outpace, Curbstomp is the pet project of a crazed biomechanic with far too much time to mess around. though cobbled together from scraps and half-breed stock, she is remarkably intelligent and needs little handling to get from A to B.

NOTES

im still not sure i even want curbstomp to be sentient but its funny to me. that does mean i have pretty much zero writing that could count as about her or from her perspective since, you know, she's a car. also her pronouns are she/her because that's how people talk about cars and boats etc

NOTES

curbstomp out somewhere in the dust zone. crusty photo because im too lazy to scan anything. you can see that machines that have legs usually have extra joints, because the added dexterity and ability to adapt to uneven ground usually makes up for the higher fragility and tendency to sprain or twist. similarly, the middle pair of longer legs are necessary to keep the chassis of the car steady while running, but because they rarely hold the full weight of the car they are skinnier. (this piece doesn't feature the heavy underbelly that is necessary to host most of the meat (lol) of the biomechanics that keep things running)
