a ranch wizard of impressive skill, Marlow seems to have led a strangely sheltered life and has little knowledge of surviving in the Great Wilds. enlisting Shiloh's help as a guide and guard through a perfect series of coincidences, he asks the bounty hunter to bring him somewhere they vowed to never go again...
Marlow is also a gay little fucker and immediately biffs it falling for his guide whoopsie
i dont like this piece. this is the first try at Marlow after i changed him from the character he had been before, and its both very old and very rough. for one thing he's too skinny and for another i still thought he would be post-op instead of no-op. i still like his stupid little cowboy wizard hat though
much more recent appearance doodles. its not very clear but Marlow is no-op. although he was Wildly fucking uncomfortable before he came out, he's happy with his hardware, so to speak. in fact, he finds he is much happier with himself in general after leaving the ranch, since he was no longer surrounded by people who knew him before he transitioned or came out.
although Marlow's magic manifests primarily as fire, he's actually a healing specialist. on the ranch, his job alongside general duties would be things like sprains, difficult births, lesions or hernias in hooves, attacks, and sometimes even injured ranchers. he's still more than capable of starting regualr fires, though.

a more recent Marlow! all rejoice! he's even no-op here. marlow is generally fairly shy, but he becomes much less self conscious - and significantly funnier - when he's drunk or very tired. shiloh is forever delighted to see him act this way. ( I am now seeing just how big shiloh's teeth are becoming each time i draw them.....)
